Scottish National Antarctic Expedition 1902-04 Gallery
Led by William Speirs Bruce, the aim was to map the South Orkney Islands and investigate the Weddell Sea. The expedition wintered on Laurie Island and established a meteorological observatory, Omond House. They undertook the first oceanographical exploration of the Weddell Sea.
