British Expedition to Graham Land, 1920-22 Mouse Mat Collection

Originally intended as a much larger venture, insufficient finances restricted the expedition and only two men, Bagshawe and Lester decided to carry on. They set up a base in a discarded water boat and spent one year collecting important scientific data.
